ADVOCACY STRATEGY SESSION

Focused SEND support, with a clear plan for what comes next.

INTRODUCTORY PRICE: £95

A Strategy Session is a focused piece of support for families who feel stuck, overwhelmed by competing information, or simply unsure what their next step should be.

Before we meet, we’ll review your intake form and the most relevant information you’ve shared so that we can use the session well. We’ll then spend up to 90 minutes together online, exploring what’s happening, identifying the key priorities and working through the options available to you.

After the session, you’ll receive a personalised Solas Way Action Plan setting out the main points we discussed, practical next steps, useful questions to raise and any information or evidence it may be helpful to gather. Your Action Plan will be sent within 5 business days.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Pre-session SEND Support Review

Complete a short intake form and share any relevant information. Up to 30 minutes is included for me to review this before we meet.

2. Your dedicated Strategy Session

We'll meet online for up to 90 minutes, focusing on the issues and priorities that matter most to you. The aim is to leave you clearer about what’s happening, what your options are and what to do next. Some sessions may naturally conclude sooner once we've worked through what you need.

3. Your Solas Way Action Plan

Within 5 business days, you’ll receive a personalised written plan bringing together your priorities, recommended next steps, points to raise and useful guidance.

WHAT CAN WE TALK ABOUT?

Strategy sessions can be used to explore a wide range of SEND and wellbeing concerns, including:

  • Making sense of what is happening when support feels unclear, inconsistent or difficult to navigate

  • Understanding what support may be appropriate and what reasonable next steps could look like

  • Preparing for conversations or meetings with school and deciding what you want to raise

  • Working through concerns about progress, wellbeing, attendance, behaviour or access to learning

  • Understanding SEND processes and your options where you are unsure what happens next

  • Identifying priorities when there are several issues competing for attention

  • Reviewing the support already in place and thinking about what may need to change

  • Deciding what information or evidence might be useful to gather before taking further action

You do not need to know exactly what kind of support you need before booking - part of the session is helping you work that out.
